The Jason Russell House and the Smith Museum houses and displays historical artifacts from the collection of the Arlington Historical Society. The museum is an 1100 square foot room that houses a current historical display. The room can be transformed for event purposes. There is also a small kitchenette for food and beverage preparation. Two unisex handicapped bathrooms serve the facility.
Fronting the Smith Museum and the entrance to the Jason Russell House is an expansive, beautifully shaded lawn. A historical kitchen herb garden and perennial garden border the entrance to the facility. The lawn can be a beautiful setting for tented banquets, concerts, cocktail parties, and receptions.
